The cucumber harvest season in the Jenin area of Judea and Samaria began two months ago and has reached its peak.
This year, around 25,000 tons of cucumbers will be exported from the Jenin area. The profits for area farmers will stand at around 65 million shekels.

Around 60 percent of the cucumbers imported to Israel come from the Jenin area.

Many Palestinian families make a living from cucumber exports.

The exporting of cucumbers is made possible by the work of the Civil Administration’s Jenin District Coordination and Liaison Office.
